Unless otherwise specified, the operating requirements delineated in this topic include service packs supported by Microsoft.

Operating Systems

ThumbnailXpress™ runs on 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems:

Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 8
Windows Server 2003 R2
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2012

ThumbnailXpress runs in 64-bit and 32-bit executables.

Although it may run, ThumbnailXpress is not supported on previous Windows versions (for example, Windows XP).

Threading

Accusoft considers thread-safe to be when an application using this component can use multiple controls running in the same process, where they don't interfere with each other. The thread creating the control owns the control and is the only thread that can interact with it.
